Sent on to the streets to take portraits of the British public, I ventured to Covent Garden armed with my camera and searched for people with hats. This was harder then it sounds - people's mistrust of cameras in the modern age combined with either shyness or vainty, meant I only managed 22 in 60 minutes. Of which only ONE was British and two female. It confirmed my suspicions that we Brits are far too reserved, need to smile more, and perhaps saw "yes" once in a while...
